Thousands of revelers will hit the streets of downtown DeLand from 6 p.m.-9 p.m. in search of hula, conga, and crazy tropical hats. The steel drum band, Tropical Hammer, will once again play on West Indiana Avenue. There will be limbo contests, hula hoop showdowns, kids' activities and conga lines. The downtown DeLand merchants will offer refreshments, food & drink specials, sales, and discounts. Bring the whole family for a fun night out! 386-738-0649. Join Outsiders, Persimmon Hollow Brewing Company and 4Ocean for another beach cleanup on Earth Day!
The cleanup will take place from 10am - noon, with check in at 9:45am.

Bags, buckets and gloves will be provided for all volunteers at the cleanup. Each volunteer will also receive a raffle ticket for a free paddle board, and a free beer (21+) courtesy of Persimmon Hollow Brewing.
We will also provide drinking water and ask that you PLEASE bring a REUSABLE WATER BOTTLE with you, as cups will not be distributed!
Community service hours will also be available for any students or others who need to log hours.

The Third Annual DeBary Beerfest will take place Saturday, April 7th at River City Nature Park, 200 Barwick Rd, DeBary, FL sponsored by Central 28 Beer Co. and the City of DeBary. More than 30 breweries from throughout Florida will participate in the beerfest. This year will include your favorite food trucks, vendors, more shade, water and misting stations and more great craft beer. Breweries will compete in the disc golf tournament beginning at 11 a.m. with an awards ceremony and presentation of trophies following the event. The DeBary Beerfest will run from 2 -6 p.m. Ticket cost is $30 before April 7th and $40 at the gate - includes a tote, tasting glass, and beer samplings of brewery participants seasonal beers. Being this is a beer festival, attendees are mostly adults between the ages of 21+ but this is also a great outdoor family event. Since the craft beer industry has a fundamental culture of community-involvement and giving back proceeds from the event will go to St. John's Riverkeeper, a nonprofit organization that keeps our river clean and protected.
