The Third Annual DeBary Beerfest will take place Saturday, April 7th at River City Nature Park, 200 Barwick Rd, DeBary, FL sponsored by Central 28 Beer Co. and the City of DeBary. More than 30 breweries from throughout Florida will participate in the beerfest. This year will include your favorite food trucks, vendors, more shade, water and misting stations and more great craft beer. Breweries will compete in the disc golf tournament beginning at 11 a.m. with an awards ceremony and presentation of trophies following the event. The DeBary Beerfest will run from 2 -6 p.m. Ticket cost is $30 before April 7th and $40 at the gate - includes a tote, tasting glass, and beer samplings of brewery participants seasonal beers. Being this is a beer festival, attendees are mostly adults between the ages of 21+ but this is also a great outdoor family event. Since the craft beer industry has a fundamental culture of community-involvement and giving back proceeds from the event will go to St. John's Riverkeeper, a nonprofit organization that keeps our river clean and protected.
Brews & Bowties is a Beer Pairing dinner like no other. It features 10 area restaurants partnered with 10 rare and unique beers. Tickets are limited to 100 people and the event is held at The Table Restaurant in Historic Downtown DeLand. $40 advance sales only. Purchase Tickets
Join us for a beach cleanup hosted by Persimmon Hollow Brewing and Outsiders USA, sponsored by 4Ocean!
Our beautiful beaches have taken a hit from the recent storms and are in need of some help. Not only will you be filling your quota for your daily good deed, but we are also giving away amazing prizes!
Participants will be provided with eco-friendly 4Ocean bags for collecting trash, 4Ocean t-shirts, free Persimmon Hollow Beach Hippie beer and gift certificates for Outsiders USA.
We'll have several awesome prizes for top trash collectors, including 4Ocean bracelets and a free paddle board rental. Additionally, every attendee will receive one raffle ticket to be entered to win a standup paddleboard from Evolve (courtesy of Persimmon Hollow Brewing). This board will be up for display at the beginning of the year and given away at the end of the season. So each one of our cleanups you attend, you'll get another ticket and chance to win!
WHERE: On the beach in front of North Beach Community Park. This parking lot has for-pay spots, but you can also park on the side of Atlantic Road, if you do not want to pay to get on the beach (at your own risk!). Cars park there often, and I've not seen them ticketed, but that doesn't mean it isn't a possibility. If you're driving on the beach, the on-ramp at Beachway is just two blocks north (cost is $10 for the day; free if you already have a beach pass). We encourage car-pooling, and will coordinate some car-pooling from DeLand.
HOW TO FIND US: Look for the blue "Outsiders USA" tents and tons of awesome people!
HOW LONG: We'll do check-in between 8:30-9 where you'll get your gloves & bag for collecting trash. We'll have some free 4Ocean t-shirts, in limited quantities so that'll be first come first served! By 10:30 everyone should be making their way back to the tents for some chill time and prize giveaways. =) Then we'll have some time to go for a swim or just relax in the shade. Free Beach Hippie beer at Persimmon Hollow Brewing after the event for all volunteers (21+ of course!). =)
For any questions, feel free to email us at email@example.com
We look forward to seeing you all there and cleaning up tons of trash!
